When God moves…

If only…

If only I could extend all that is moving within my soul across the ocean waters to each of you. ❤

I am certain that if even the tiniest piece of what I am feeling could reach you today, the impact would bless you. ❤

Scott and I have had countless wonderful experiences in our lives. We have had times of steady focus, times of reckless impulsiveness and times of uncertainty.

But.

This single decision is definitely in a category of it’s own.

If you have read my previous post A Man Named Bill then you may have been wondering just how this story will unfold (I know we are!)

Let’s take a moment, shall we?

Stretch your mind passed your wildest expectations…… now farther…..expand your comfort zone beyond where you thought your boundaries could extend……now farther……here’s the big one ➡️➡️open your heart passed the point of bursting……

now double that……

…and keep going! 😉😉😉

My prayer for you today is that you listen and keep a watchful eye for God’s movement. There is no smallness to this life. Nothing is insignificant. No encounter by chance. You matter. No life is beyond the still small voice that beckons us to love, to trust and sometimes even to leap. ❤

Now….let’s take a little tour…..

The Landscape.

From the lush green mountains to the aqua blue waters this island is teaming with beautiful views! 🌴🗻🌺

We spent the first day driving the island roads.

The main highway offers a lovely winding roadway with high mountain peaks on one side and beautiful blue ocean on the other.

The shoreline is so diverse!

Sandy beaches, steep rocky cliffs, and huge crashing waves at every turn.

The People.

It is as if the majestic scenery of these islands willingly submits to offer a backdrop for some of the most beautiful people I have met. Their kindness and generosity of spirit has offered us a fullness of friendship that already seems ages old.

A constant flow of smiles, greetings and helpfulness throughout the day.

The beauty of their island matches the beauty of their hearts.

We are blessed.

The Food.🍽

Come on…we all know this is one thing you really want to know about 😂

It has been fabulous!

Samoan Crepes… Yum… Luscious crepes smothered in New Zealand butter and jam! 🍴💕 These were so fantastic that they deserved to be eaten with silent reverence, but I couldn’t stop talking about how yummy they were as I shoveled in every bite!!!

🚨ALERT🚨For those of you who have witnessed Scott’s uncanny ability to eat the same unusual food day after day to the point of nausea the following report will not surprise you……

Scott has ordered the Wahoo Moco every single day since we have been here.

Every. Single. Day.

It is a Wahoo filet topped with 2 eggs served over a bed of rice that is smothered with grilled onions and brown gravy.

He has eaten it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. 🤣🤣

*************

Before you skip down to the pictures…..we send love to all of you from this amazing corner of the world! 🌏

We will continue to snap photos and keep you informed as our time here progresses!

Meanwhile….

God is moving, join Him.

Breathe deeply, love without fail & speak kindly to those who grace your path today. ❤

Time for some photos….

Captured this photo on our approach to Honolulu. 🗻✈🌴🌺

The view from our temporary quarters features Rainmaker Mountain. It is said that when the clouds touch the mountain, rain follows. 🌧🌴🗻

Flowers from Heaven. These fragrant blossoms are scattered like a carpet leading to the shoreline every morning.

We have seen several of these rainbow bursts. When it rains here, people carry on as usual. No one runs for shelter or stops activity….the rain soon passes.

Rainmaker in her veil.

View across the harbor.

Rowing has been so fun to watch! We have also had the pleasure of watching the sailing team practice for the upcoming Pacific Games!

The busy harbor!
